Deepak Hooda Has Decided To Leave Baroda To Play For Rajasthan

BARODA: Team India midfielder batsman and Baroda team vice-captain Deepak Hooda has taken a bold decision. Hooda, who played for Baroda in domestic cricket for a long time, said goodbye to the team. He also obtained a No Objection Certificate from the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA). Deepak Hooda will be in the ring for Rajasthan next season. He declared this to himself. Needless to say, the real reason he said goodbye to the Baroda team was his clash with team captain Krunal Pandya.

Deepak Hooda with Sport Star responded by saying good bye to the Baroda team. ‘It is very sad to leave the Baroda team that has played for so long. But I think this is the right decision. I have also discussed this with my coaches and well-wishers. I have taken this decision to take care of everything, ‘said Deepak Hooda. Deepak, who has been playing for Baroda since 2013, has scored 2908 runs in 46 first-class matches so far. Played 68 List-A games, 131 T20 matches.

The Mustaq Ali Trophy kicks off on January 10 this year. Deepak Hooda, who clashed with Baroda team captain Krunal Pandya before the first match, left the team without seeking permission from the association. The BCCI held the trophy in a bio-bubble environment in the wake of the corona virus outbreak. The cricketer could not leave the bubble without prior permission. Hooda made large-scale allegations against Pandya after he left the team. At the team meeting, he confessed that Krunal had deliberately insulted him in front of everyone and that he had never faced such harassment from any captain in his career.

The Baroda Cricket Association has asked the team manager for a full report on the Krunal Pandya-Deepak Hooda dispute. The Baroda Cricket Association Afex Council, which has recently conducted a full-fledged inquiry into the Hooda controversy, has clarified that he was not disciplined. With that came a ban on him. Hooda, who played for the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 season, scored 116 runs with a strike rate of 143.20. It also included two winning innings. The remaining matches of the IPL 2021 season will not be played in the UAE from September 19. Therefore, he will play.
